Data inputted in the "cases" component of the IMMEX packaging tool connect the contents of a case/clone in a problem set to the IMMEX assessment tools. To enable the linkage of the content of a case to the IMMEX assessment tools, authors need to provide the following information on each case in a problem set.
- Case title;
- Case initial base, the name of folder in which the case files are stored;
- Case starting page, the opening page that introduce the problem to be solved and the problem space with all available menu items, generally index.htm;
- Case solution page, a page with a brief summary of the logic for the solution, generally epilog.htm;
- Case completed page, the last page of case, generally epilog.htm;
- Case solution page, the correct answer for the case; and
- Case description, an identifying descriptor for the case, which may be as simple as a case number, indicating the order in which the case was constructed, for example, case 1.
