IMMEX Receives an Award of Excellence
from the University of Minnesota's Learning Design Competition
The IMMEX Project at UCLA has taken Second Place from among forty-one entries
in this year's Learning Software Design Competition, sponsored by the
University of Minnesota.

IMMEX was one of twelve entries sent on to the final round of judging after
being reviewed by seventy-one instructional design experts from around the
country. The IMMEX problem sets True Roots, What Killed Lenny? and Who Messed
with Roger Rabbit? were reviewed as was an extensive entry form detailing
IMMEX approaches and methodology, Teachers' AID data reporting tools, research
outcomes and partnerships with other educational technology projects. After
two days of reviewing the IMMEX Project framework and working the
problem-sets, the final three judges unanimously conferred upon IMMEX the 2nd
place award.
